Practice Manager
Kate Zucco has been part of the Pioneer Valley Allergy family since 2009, when she joined Dr. Van Stee as her receptionist. Over the past 16 years in healthcare — including more than a decade in healthcare management — Kate has grown into a leadership role that allows her to support both the operational side of the practice and the people who make it thrive.
As Practice Manager, Kate ensures that every aspect of our office runs smoothly, efficiently, and with empathy. Her work behind the scenes helps create the welcoming, organized, and compassionate environment that patients and staff alike appreciate.
Education & Training
Kate brings over 16 years of healthcare experience and 10 years of practice management expertise to her role. Through ongoing training and professional development in medical practice management, she continuously expands her knowledge to support both patient care and team success.
Her deep understanding of healthcare operations — from administrative systems to patient experience — allows her to bridge the gap between clinical and operational excellence.

Kate believes that great care starts with a great environment. She takes pride in creating a space where patients and staff feel respected, heard, and genuinely cared for.
Her management style is inclusive and collaborative, emphasizing teamwork, open communication, and accountability. Kate leads by example — hands‑on, approachable, and always ready to listen. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys spending time with her 20‑year‑old son and gathering with family. She values time together, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to give back to her hometown community.
